Important clarification: This registration is for the October 3–4 clinic only. You are not applying to or committing to the future WEFL Signature Series: Train the Trainers program. The complete program pathway will be introduced during this clinic.
Early-participant benefit: All paid rider and interactive-auditor fees from this event may be applied toward the future Signature Series enrollment fee for participants who choose to continue.
Teaching Working Equitation Clinic — October 3–4, 2026
A two-day clinic with Tiago Ernesto on the art of teaching
A focused introduction to the art of teaching Working Equitation — a taste of what the forthcoming WEFL Signature Series: Train the Trainers will explore in depth.
Rider fee $490 members / $575 non-members · Application fee $50 / $100 · Auditor tickets available
Applications close Tuesday, September 15
The rider roster for this inaugural clinic is nearly full, with only a few riding spots left. If you have been thinking about applying, now is the time. This is an application-based opportunity, and submission of an application does not guarantee selection as a rider in the clinic.
Bringing a second horse? Contact us directly — additional entries are limited by ride times and stabling.
For this first clinic we are intentionally building a varied group rather than selecting only the most advanced or highest-profile applicants. Different backgrounds, experience levels, teaching situations, and current challenges make this a more meaningful demonstration of what Train the Trainers is meant to be — for the selected riders, their students, auditors, mentors, and the wider Working Equitation community. Tiago and the TTT Master Educational Panel Mentors may contact applicants for follow-up before participation is confirmed.
Fees
Application fee: $50 for WEFL members, $100 for non-members. If you are selected to ride, this is applied toward your clinic cost. If you are not selected, it may be applied toward auditor attendance or held as credit toward a future WEFL event.
Rider fee if selected: $490 for members, $575 for non-members. This covers one ride on Saturday, one ride on Sunday, and rider lunch both days. Personal accommodations and stabling are not included.
Clinic weekend
Friday, October 2 — Move-in opens after 3:00 PM. WEFL hosts a meet and greet on the grounds at 7:00 PM, by invitation, for riders, interactive auditors, and Founding Members attending the clinic.
Saturday evening — We plan to reserve space at a local restaurant for an optional group dinner. This is not a catered or hosted meal and is not part of the clinic fee: guests order and pay for themselves. Nothing to bring.

Selection notes
Applications will be reviewed with an eye toward creating a strong and useful educational group, not simply selecting the most accomplished applicants on paper. We are especially interested in assembling participants whose combined experience, perspectives, strengths, and challenges will make for a rich two days of teaching-focused learning with Tiago.
Selected applicants may be contacted for any needed follow-up information before final participation is confirmed.
