In November, we traveled to Portugal to spend some time training with Joao Lynce at Quinta de Escaroupim where he is one of the largest and most famous breeders and trainers of Lusitano horses. With over 150 horses ranging in age from weanlings to a sage 23 year-old, Joao and his talented staff have a wealth of knowledge to share and are very eager to help us with Working Equitation from its roots in Portugal.

The WAWE (World Association of Working Equitation) is seated in Portugal. This country is rich with a history of working horses they proudly call, Lusitanos.
